
Shelter is CLOSED for the season
In the month of March, we will be open when the temperature at night is 35 degrees or below. This determination is made from the 3-day forcast of WDBJ7 News. In addition, the shelter MAY BE closed if staffing is not available for a specific night. Volunteers are always needed so if you are able to help, please go to the Volunteer page and fill our our availability jot form! Thank you.

What we do…
We seek to serve those who are experiencing homelessness in Franklin County, Virginia and surrounding areas by providing a safe, clean, and warm space for the night through the winter months. An evening meal and breakfast are provided. Showers are available for those who are interested, toiletries are provided.
This ministry is available through of the support of the volunteers in our community who staff this temporary shelter and provide food, supplies, and donations for those guests who stay with us.

When available, Shelter opens at 7:00 pm. Doors close for the night at 8:00 pm. (no entry allowed past this time) Shelter closes 8:00 am.
